About Us

Our Background

NRDO is registered in South Sudan in 2019 to help the vulnerable people. NRDO is fully committed to support the vulnerable which include; children, women and people with special needs through health and sanitation, peace-building, promotion of social-justice and advocacy for respect of humanity and protection of human rights and education as the core objectives.  The founders gained knowledge and skills from the various institutions in many countries and had a privilege to get education in the best institutions around the world. They have been in most part of South Sudan rendering services in: counties, villages, camps where the vulnerable and abandoned people live. NRDO aims is to empower the vulnerable members of the com munities (women, children, orphans, elderly and persons with disability) to improve their quality of life and alleviate poverty while nurturing self-resilience within the community, provide basic health care, education, food security and livelihood, protection, and other socio-economic activities.

NRDO has a holistic mission of providing humanitarian services irrespective, of race, ethnicity, nationality or religious backgrounds. NRDO has an inside approach to the communities to enable then attain a progressive change and realization of their potentials through the objectives set forth in the constitution. NRDO works in hand in hand with stakeholders in the community that include: community leaders, CBOs, NGOs, UN agencies. NRDO is a member of health, Education, FSL and Protection cluster and protection. We believe in the coexistence of all the partners for the achievement of MDG.

NILE RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION Activities are supported by NRDO with contributions form  from board members. NRDO has a vision of insuring well being of vulnerable people in South Sudan so as to become productive and achieve sustainable economic development. NRDO has highly qualified management team with several years’ experience in working with community of South Sudan. The team is comprised of well-trained medical, education specialists and human right activist.
